A “cleanse” typically offers juices and clean, nutrient-dense plant-based foods to support digestive organs, hydration, the lymphatic system, and elimination. Typically, cleanses omit processed foods, sugar, alcohol and other substances that strain the liver. As a result, we can feel lighter and refreshed. Most cleanses are also created for a group, versus individual needs. Hence, some cleanses can be harmful to certain individuals with unique needs for their life phase, medical condition, and more.
Even when a cleanse is beneficial, one underlying root cause of much dis-ease still persists: TOXINS.
