Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoons onion (finely minced)
  • 2 tablespoons sage (finely minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme (finely minced)
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground)
  • red pepper flakes (optional for a little kick)
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix together turkey, onion, sage, thyme, 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons avocado oil.

  3. Cook as is for ground “sausage” or brown the patties for 3–4 minutes on each side, until firm to the touch.
